I Envision Something New
Many forms I found.
Many ways I created.
My words have changed
all the different ways
I see, feel, and hear.
You thought me iambic,
to play with words sounds
to count up to ten syllables,
to write in fancy form,
and to free myself on paper.
Normal things are gone
and a new perception
of them has born in place
as Mr. Wade would say:
it’s just a poetic form.
I envision something different
but I don’t want to know it
Instead this new language will
show it, in its elegant form
of the poetic language.
