More Evidence Links Specific Genes to ADHD

There are Variations in genes involved in brain signaling pathways appear to be linked to attention deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) according to a new study.  In a study of 4100 children, 10 percent had duplications of DNA sequances in four gens tat are part of the gene family.  Children with ADHD have gene family GMR that affect the nerve transmitions, and the formation of neurons, and interconections in the brain.

In the book Human Biology we talk about ADD.  On chapter 18 talks about the functions of the brain and the different parts nthe brain is devided.  On chapter 6 we talk about gens and how they can be affected from a mutation that can provoke a sicknes.
